Guidewire Insurance Forum large screen display

Over several years, I've contributed design work to the Guidewire Insurance Forum, Guidewire Software's premier gathering for property and casualty insurance leaders across three global regions: Asia-Pacific, Europe, and Australia and New Zealand.

These are not trade shows. They are curated, high-stakes gatherings where Guidewire's own credibility is on display alongside every keynote and every corner of the room. My work has spanned two sides of that experience: the large-format screen animations at the heart of the main stage, and the physical environment graphics that shape how attendees move through and experience the space.

The main stage screens set the tone for the entire day before a single speaker takes the podium. I've created motion graphics and animation sequences for these environments across multiple regional editions of the forum, designing work that gives each event a sense of momentum from the first moment the room fills.

Designing for a large-format event environment is a genuinely different challenge than designing for a screen someone holds in their hands. Scale changes how motion reads, how color lands, and how much breathing room a composition needs. Because the forum runs across three regions each year, the screen work also needs to hold together as a system while leaving room for each event to feel like its own thing.

Alongside the screen work, I've designed graphics for the physical spaces where attendees spend their day: signage, wayfinding, exhibition areas, registration zones, and the details that make a venue feel intentionally designed rather than simply rented for the occasion.

Event environments are temporary by nature, but the impression they leave is not. When the physical and digital environments share a common visual logic, the whole event holds together as a single thing, and that coherence is what I've worked toward across each edition of the forum.

The forums have grown considerably over time. The 2025 European edition in Paris was the largest European Guidewire event ever held. The following year, the forum expanded to a two-day format in Brussels. The Australian edition brings together 120 or more senior industry leaders in Sydney each year, and the APAC edition adds a third distinct regional audience to the mix.

This portfolio page covers several years and several versions of the forum rather than a single project. That choice was deliberate: taken together, they represent a sustained body of work and a creative relationship with a client whose events have grown in scale and ambition every year.
